In our church, each congregation has a youth group for the girls called Young Women’s. I was lucky enough to work with the YW group in our congregation for about a year. Working with the YW is always one of my favorite assignments at church.
A few weeks ago, my cousin (and former YW of mine) Am. (seen here modeling for one of my portrait assignments) asked if I could take some pictures of she and the other girls. Am. was completing a project in which she was designing and creating a new informational bulletin board for the YW at the church building. She wanted pictures of all the girls on the bulletin board and had the idea of doing a more serious picture and a more fun, fashion inspired picture of each girl and of the girls interacting together. We’ve been taking pictures at church over the last couple Sundays. Here are their “serious” headshots. (I also need to thank [b]ecker for his headshot tips he posted on the [b]school. It helped so much to have a process to work with when setting these up.)
