Photo Shoot – Hipskind-Robison Kids

We attended my stepson’s wedding in Texas last weekend. It was a beautiful event and we had a wonderful weekend spending time with everyone.

One of my favorite things about visiting Texas is having the chance to spend time with Jennifer and Steve. I was extraordinarily lucky to marry into a situation where my husband, his former spouse and her husband get along so well. They really worked together as a team to raise Chris and Amanda, and I’m extremely grateful that we are all able to spend time together when we have the chance.

Steve asked if I would take some pictures of Chris, Amanda and his three kids – Emily, Rachel and Russell – while everyone was together for the wedding. We almost ran out of time and didn’t get the chance to take these, but I grabbed the five of them and shot these on the front porch of Jenn and Steve’s house as the post-wedding barbecue was winding down on Sunday. It’s also a great tribute to Jenn and Steve that these kids all get along so well. They truly seem to enjoy each other’s company and like being together.

Jenn & Steve have a hallway gallery of black and white family photos. I did some black and white conversions of these photos too – just in case they needed them.

This is one of my favorites. I’m not sure if Amanda will love it, but I love that I captured her laugh.

I hope you like the pictures! It was great spending time with you!

Thank you so much Macy for taking such beautiful pictures of us five. They turned out so well. Thanks again and for taking the time to take them! Now how do I go about getting these for myself?
