Photo Shoot – W. Family

I have been excited for this shoot. After my guest post on Dare to Dream, I held a contest here on the blog. And Jenny won! Her oldest son has been away at college, but while he was home for the holidays, we were able to do a shoot at their home.

I felt instantly at home and at ease with the W. family. They are a loving, energetic bunch.

One of the kids jokingly said we should pose on the woodpile, because they’ve worked so hard on it. I thought that was a great idea – and it ended up being my favorite location of the morning.

I attempted to capture the energy of the family and just turned the kids loose. I have a ton of hilarious shots from this serious, but I love this one:

Thanks, W. Family! And Jenny, I truly appreciate all the kind words you have left via comment on the blog. It really means a lot to me.

Best,
Macy

I didn’t think anyone could make this family more look darling than they already are, but you’ve proved me wrong! The settings you chose, the poses, the lighting- all are wonderful. You’re an amazing photographer.
