The Birthday Shoot | Part 1 – The Cake

I spent some time planning out this shoot, so I’m going to take my time posting the results.

I knew that as part of L’s one year old photo shoot, I wanted to do a cake smash. She’s becoming quite the sweet lover, and she did well on her celebratory cupcake, so I was excited to see what she would do with a cake. Luckily, I remembered a shoot that Katie Moss did, which had a cake that I LOVED, and even more luckily, my awesome friend Jo Ann was able to replicate it for me.

Even the ombre frosting, which I didn’t think I gave her enough time for, but she totally did it anyway.
