So touching. So gave me cause to remember my mom, now gone, and me as a mother to my children now grown and gone away. My kids still recall what a joy and relief to come home from school to find me home. My mom was rarely home-”Off saving the world”, Dad would say. But she taught me so much about the world outside our home-keen insight and passion for the unknown. What I understand, I’ve shared with my children and now my grandchildren as well.
So, the songs that come to my mind are “Love at Home”-sung with my mom and little sister many years ago and “Love is Spoken Here”-sung by my children. Tears still come to my eyes with these two songs.
