Hello.

I've started about 20 blog posts in the last couple weeks. I've got ideas written on scraps of paper in my inbox, on Evernote, in my shiny, new Franklin Planner. As you may have noticed, I haven't finished one.

I can't shake the feeling that I'm at a crossroads right now. Yet, even saying that out loud sounds like I'm in some dire situation, which isn't the case at all. I'm just feeling indecisive and stuck.

Even so, some cool stuff has been happening.

Our Christmas card was included in a student work feature over on the blog for Nicole's Classes. I love the classes I've taken there, and I have so much respect and admiration for the teachers, so having my card featured felt extra cool. (After I worked up the courage to email them the card and thank them for the inspiration.)

I'm heading to Utah tomorrow with L to attend this:

My friend Whitney is a panelist, and Alt is ultra cool. I'm looking forward to being inspired by the people I'm going to meet and the things I'm going to hear, and I'm hoping to be brave enough to introduce myself to some of my favorite bloggers. *grin*

And I was so honored to be invited with Whitney to speak and sing at this event for Power of Moms. I love the directors Saren and April, and I always come away from Power of Moms events so inspired. Unfortunately, this event is sold out, but they have plenty of upcoming retreats (including one in Dallas! Awesome!) and their site is filled with wonderful essays and ideas from real moms that are a constant inspiration.

I'm not sure how many of my scraps of paper with blog ideas will make it back here, but I can promise that I'll report on all the goings on in Utah. Hope you've had a restful holiday weekend!
