As a photographer, there are certain questions I get asked on a regular basis: What should we wear? Where should we take our photos? What do we do if it rains?
The answers vary to the first two questions, but the answer to the last question is always the same - we keep shooting unless there is an absolute downpour.
Well, for this shoot, we ended up in an absolute downpour. The photo above was taken about two minutes before we got completely soaked by a good old Texas rainstorm.
So, we started again a couple weeks later on a beautiful afternoon on South Congress in Austin.
This little man is so sweet. I love this age.
South Congress is such a fun area to take pictures. There are interesting spots everywhere you turn. And it was especially fun to do this shoot on South Congress because this family lives nearby. Or did live nearby. They moved for a job opportunity not long after we took these photos, so I'm so glad we were able to document a little piece of their time in Austin.
Thank you, Langfords! We miss having you here in TX!
