Photo Shoot – N. Family

We gained a lot of wonderful things in our family when my dad married Super Kimmie eight years ago, but one of the best things was the new aunts, uncles and cousins that were now part of our family! When were in California a few weeks ago, we were able to meet up with three cousins that live in the Sacramento area, and I was able to do photo shoots with all of them. It was such fun to see everyone, and I had Aunt Rhonda as my amazing assistant. Which is just like having Super Kimmie on hand to assist. Which is, well, awesome.

Becky and her kids were first. This was my first time meeting the kids, so it took a minute for them to warm up to me. But only about a minute. *grin* Then, they were all about the camera. Enjoy my favorites of the kids!

Photo Shoot – Williams Family

An update for those still waiting for proofs and orders – we recently listed our house in preparation for our move to Austin, Texas. We’ve been lucky enough to have several showings, but showings mean I have to vacate the house, and I haven’t had my usual work time to complete everything that needs to be finished. Thanks for your patience, and if you have questions on the status of something, please send me an e-mail.

I met up with the Williams family on a Saturday evening a couple weeks ago. We were pretty worried about this shoot being canceled due to rain, and there were a few drops sprinkling down when we started, but we were able to finish and I had a wonderful time spending the evening with them!

They love to laugh and have fun together, and I ended up with a whole bunch of favorites. I’d love to hear which are your favorites!

Wedding – Rick + Rachel

The morning after Michael & Lisa’s wedding, I whisked away to the airport with G-Man and we flew to Northern California to photograph Rick & Rachel’s wedding. Though, it was more an awesome party than a traditional wedding. The two of them were married a couple weeks prior to their event, and wanted to have a fun evening together with family and friends to celebrate.

And boy, did everyone celebrate! I think I have more dance floor photos than I’ve ever taken before!

My favorite part of the night was Rick and Rachel’s first dance. It started out with just the two of them…
